3D Embellished Florals Workshop – with Textiles by Murron

In this three-hour textile workshop, textile artist Murron Fraser will guide you in creating your own three-dimensional textile embellishments inspired by wildflowers. Using a range of hand embroidery and fabric manipulation techniques, you’ll design and construct layered floral forms that combine texture, colour, and symbolism. Drawing on traditional associations of wild flora and their folkloric symbolic meanings, you’ll translate these ideas into creative stitch and three-dimensional designs. Your final embellished pieces will be presented in hoops, making them perfect for your home or as gifts.
