Seasonal Winter Landscapes in Acrylics

Join local artist Rachael Elwell at this one-day acrylic painting class, which will introduce you to painting seasonal winter landscapes in acrylics inspired by the stunning Calderdale landscape.

With fun and easy to follow demos, Rachael will teach you how to mixing specific colour palettes, try out blending, glazing and textured brush techniques. There will be plenty of technical tips on how to paint landscapes such as how to achieve depth and perspective, dealing with highlights and shadows and how to sketch out your compositions.

You will put all of your newly learned skills into practice to create your own seasonal painting inspired by the beautiful Calderdale landscape.

This class is suitable for all levels of ability. Children to be accompanied by an adult. All materials and refreshments included.
