Explore the versatile medium of watercolour painting with our expert painting tutor Rachael Elwell.
Focusing on texture, colour mixing and composition, this course will explore a wild botanical theme including flowers, leaves and foilage.
Our tutor will demonstrate traditional and experimental approaches to painting with watercolours.
You will have a chance to make several small paintings, before bringing their newly learned skills together to paint a wild flower themed painting.
Who can attend – All ages, people under 15 with an adult.
Open to those will some experience of basic watercolour painting or those who have attended our Beginners Watercolour class.

Building a composition
Blending colours
Lifting out paint
Wet on wet painting
Wet on dry painting
Layering colourwashes
Full day workshop – 10am – 3pm
