Beginners Lino Print Workshop Mark Making & Pattern Creating

Learn all about the art of lino print through practicing with the various carving tools, then create your own set of patterned prints. You’ll start by practicing mark making on the lino with the different cutting tools before designing and creating small detailed tiles that you’ll use to create individual patterns. You’ll get the chance to make several tiles and several full A4 prints in your designs. You’ll take your completed lino tiles and your prints home with you so you can practice some more in your own time.

The carving tools are very sharp and finger protectors and cutting boards will be provided. Aprons are also provided but please wear clothing that you wouldn’t mind getting ink on as these inks can stain. This activity is not suitable for young children.
